The word that comes to mind when we think of Donna is "princess" because she's so incredibly sweet and so beautiful, yet she's locked away in a bad institution. She is literally trapped in her bed and her bed faces a plain wall. Her life is day after day of listening to the moans of the children around her while she is left with her own thoughts. The room is dark because electricity is expensive and no one wants to spend the money on disabled, orphaned children. Who could stand such a life? Somehow, Donna hangs on and when she sees people, she's happy. When someone smiles at her she lights up. She is so strong. She has waited for so long and she really needs to be someone's daughter now. She needs to be treated like the little princess she truly is!
